Remembrance Day Service - All are Welcome

On November 11, 2015 – at 7:00 p.m. in the evening – everyone is invited to participate in the Remembrance Day service organized by our local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Free Dental Care in our BIA

‘Going the Extra Smile’ is the second annual free dental care day that will take place on Sunday October 25, 2015 – from 9:a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – at Sheppard Village Dental.

Patients will be seen on a first-come, first served basis.  Registration will start at 8:30 a.m.  At least 50 people (likely more) will be treated.  Last year, 62 people were treated by Dr. Brach and his associates.

A choice of filling, extraction or cleaning will be performed - for those 18 years of age and over – who are in need of dental care and cannot afford it.

Sheppard Village Dental is located in Suite 208, 4651 Sheppard Ave. East, at the corner of McCowan.

Celebrate Summer at the Oriental Centre

Three floors of stores and services in the Oriental Centre invite you to enjoy their Celebration of Summer on Sunday August 8, 2015 – from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Meet Mario Andretti in Sheppard East Village

On Wednesday June 17, Redline Automotive will be hosting a ‘meet & greet’ with racing all-time great Mario Andretti.  Everyone is invited to this event – between 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Mario Andretti has been a winning driver in Indy Car, NASCAR, Formula One and every other category in which he has raced.

Super Tuner 6 Car Show

Super Tuner 6 – a free custom car show – will take place at Brimell Toyota Scion, 5060 Sheppard Avenue East (one light west of Markham Road) this Sunday June 7. 

The show will run from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.  The rain date is Sunday June 14.

Everyone is welcome.   There will be a kid’s play area - and you are invited to bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of East Scarborough.

Pan Am Games

If you have been in Sheppard East Village BIA recently, you will notice 56 banners helping to promote the upcoming Pan Am and Para Pan Am Games in Toronto this summer.

Our BIA is working with the City, CIBC, General Motors and the many other organizers and sponsors who are helping the Province of Ontario to present a world-class international athletic event.

Sheppard East Village is the closest BIA to the outstanding new aquatic facilities at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus on Morningside, just south of Highway 401.

These facilities that will be a media and fan focal point of the Games, as well as being a legacy contribution to sport in Toronto.  There are TWO Olympic size pools in the facility, as well as a large number of gymnasia and other sports facilities.

We encourage you to support the Pan Am Games – and to visit Sheppard East Village BIA too.

Mother’s Day Celebrations
