    Another Super Tuner 5 event that will attract a lot of attention is the Pitstop Challenge, where guests can compete for fastest times and win prizes.

    A free event for car buffs of all ages – Super Tuner 5 offers some great music, appealing food and there is also a Kids’ Play Area!

    Donations from this event will go to helping kids – through ‘Make-A-Wish Canada’.

  • Upcoming Sir Alexander Mackenzie School Concert

    The talented choirs, bands and orchestras - as well as the Principal, staff and students of ‘SAM’ - invite everyone to come out and enjoy their 2014 spring concert.

  • Exciting Community Event on April 12

    We are delighted that Gold-Medal Winning Natalie Spooner is returning to our area for a community event on Saturday April 12.

    A key member of Canada’s Women’s Olympic Hockey team, Natalie will be available for photos and autographs with all who attend.  This exciting event will also feature skills competitions and a lucky draw for 12 signed Team Canada jerseys - with proceeds going to Natalie Spooner’s designated charity, the Breakfast Club of Canada.   

    Everyone is welcome to attend this community event – at Hogan Chevrolet Buick GMC, 5000 Sheppard Avenue East, between Markham Road and McCowan Road, in Sheppard East Village.

  • Natalie Spooner visits Hogan today

    Natalie Spooner, member of Canada¹s gold-medal winning Women¹s Hockey team, returned to Hogan Chevrolet Buick GMC, to show her many friends and supporters her gold medal. Natalie was guest of honour at a community event at Hogan¹s in the fall, where young players and local fans were able to get autographs, have photos taken and participate in draws for hockey equipment.   Congratulation, Natalie ­ and Team Canada!

  • Gold Medal Game on February 20/14

    Natalie Spooner - who kindly appeared at a popular community event at Hogan Chevrolet Buick GMC in the fall – led the Canadian Women’s Hockey team to the Olympic Gold Medal game, when she scored 2 first period goals in Canada’s 3-1 semi-final victory over Switzerland.  Natalie also hit the post, on a breakaway, in the third period.

    Sheppard East Village BIA salutes Natalie Spooner - and we wish Team Canada success in the Gold Medal game against their long-time rivals, Team USA.
